Sight, Sovereignty, and the Soul

There are moments in life where something simple hits with a weight you can’t explain. Today, it was a quote — short, clean, and ancient in its truth:

“You don’t have a soul. You are a soul. You have a body.” — C.S. Lewis

I didn’t just read it.

I felt it.

It pulled me, like recognition — not discovery.

Because this is how I’ve been moving for a long time now. This is why I don’t cling to the rules of other places. This is why I lean into being sovereign. This is why I trust the Lord over the noise of the world. I’m not here trying to fit into the body‑based systems people build. I’m here walking as a soul navigating a temporary shell.

The world deals with matters of the body — status, fear, rules, appearances, expectations. But I’ve been living from a different place. A deeper place. A place that doesn’t need permission to exist.

And that’s where sight comes in.

Sight isn’t eyesight. Sight is gravity. Sight is awareness. Sight is the ability to feel truth before you can explain it. Sight is faith turning into perception. I can see only because I can feel it — and I feel it not because I “know,” but because I believe.

Faith is the engine.

Feeling is the signal.

Sight is the outcome.

I’ve come a long way.

And I know I’ve still got farther to go.

But I’m finally seeing with the part of me that’s eternal — not the part of me that’s temporary.

I am a soul.

I have a body.

And I’m walking with the clarity that comes from that truth.
