What Today Added to Me

Today wasn’t smooth.

It wasn’t convenient.

It wasn’t one of those days where everything clicks and the path feels clear.

It was the other kind — the kind that tests you, stretches you, frustrates you, and then quietly hands you something valuable on the other side.

I spent the day building, pushing, learning, solving problems I didn’t expect, and discovering new parts of myself in the process.

Not because it was easy, but because the mission demands it.

Because the need to provide and the desire to grow won’t let me sit still.

Because there’s more in me than what I’ve shown so far.

And yeah — I’m tired.

But it’s the kind of tired that comes with evidence.

Evidence that I didn’t fold.

Evidence that I added something to myself today.

Evidence that I’m becoming more equipped for what I’m called to do.

Every skill sharpened, every frustration pushed through, every moment I wanted to stop but didn’t — all of it becomes material I’ll use to add more to the world.

Not for my name, but for His.

I was guided through the rough parts because there’s still more ahead.

More to build.

More to give.

More to become.

I’m ending the day worn down but built up.

And tomorrow, I’ll carry what I gained into whatever comes next.
